This is only half of the 2022 Jeks mural located in a parking lot behind the Twisted Track Gallery, to the north of R Street and west of 12th Street. To the left here is a portrait of favorite son Russ Solomon, famous for founding Tower Records, and favorite daughter and famed writer Joan Didion. (Pixel 7 Pro)

IMHO this 15-story-high Shepard Fairey mural on the east side of the downtown Marriott Residence Hotel is, far and away, the single greatest, must-see mural in Sacramento. It is viewable from the intersection of L Street and 15th Street. It was created in 2018 in honor of the 50th year celebration of Johnny Cash's famed At Folsom Prison album.  (Pixel 2 XL)

Graphic designer Iker Mura working in progress on his colorful 2018 mural, located on 5th Street south of L Street. I love all the converging and diverging lines and color saturations in this composition, cropped for panoramic effect. (Pixel 2 XL)

The east side of the Golden 1 Center ... go Kings! ... features this towering mural of Lady Gaga, created in 2017 by street artist Christina Angelina. It is viewable off 7th Street just north of L Street. (Pixel 2 XL)

Sure, there is no lack of murals featuring Frieda Kahlo, but this is a personal favorite. It was created by street artist Brandon Gastinell in 2021 as part of Wide Open Walls (WOW). It is located on the east-facing back wall of the Burgers and Brew Restaurant at 16th and J Streets. (To view it directly, you need to go through the restaurant next door and head back to its outside dining area.) (Pixel 3a XL)

This is a segment of a two-sided, block-long mural in the underpass separating Old Town Sacramento and the Downtown Commons (DOCO). (Pixel 2 XL)
